Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Mimo ("the app") collects, how it is used, where it is stored, and the choices you have. Mimo is a save-and-organize app that lets you save photos and media, links, notes, and locations, organize them into collections, use AI-assisted organization, and optionally connect your Google Drive to store supported media in your own Drive.

1. Information we collect

2. Authentication

You sign in to Mimo with your Google account. Authentication is handled by Google sign-in together with our backend authentication provider, Supabase. Mimo does not receive, see, or store your Google password. Your password is entered only on Google's own sign-in screens.

3. Google Drive connection and OAuth permissions

Connecting Google Drive is optional. If you choose to connect it, Mimo requests Google OAuth permissions (scopes) that allow the app to store supported media that you save into your own Google Drive, so your media stays under your control in your Drive.

Your Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are handled only on our servers. They are never exposed in the Android app. The app communicates with our backend, which performs Drive operations on your behalf using those tokens.

You can disconnect Google Drive at any time from the app or from your Google account's security settings. Files already saved to your Drive remain in your Drive and stay under your control.

4. How we use your data

5. Where your data is stored

6. Security practices

We use HTTPS for data in transit, keep Google OAuth tokens on our servers and out of the Android app, and rely on the security controls of Google and Supabase for the services they provide. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information with reasonable safeguards.

7. Third-party services

8. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual saved items and collections inside the app at any time. To delete your account and the data associated with it, use the deletion option in the app where available, or email us at devendrsingh9772733496@gmail.com and we will delete your account data from our backend. Content stored in your own Google Drive is controlled by you and can be deleted directly from Google Drive.

9. Children's privacy

Mimo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
